Colloquium Scheduling

The Department holds colloquia each year throughout the fall and spring semesters. These colloquia, open to the public, are typically held on Thursday afternoons from 3:30pm-4:30pm, but sometimes occur at other times as well. The Department encourages its faculty to present talks on their research or to host other speakers giving talks of interest to the Computer Science Department community.

Schedule a Colloquium

The best option, if the available dates and time work for you, is to schedule a colloquium during one of the regular (Thursday 3:30pm-4:30pm) colloquium time slots. The venue is already reserved, regular attendees have already noted the times on their schedules, and other departmental events are scheduled with the "colloquium time slot" in mind.

If the available regular colloquium time slots don't work for you, you may request a colloquium to be scheduled at another time. Since many venues tend to be heavily scheduled, the more flexibility in the possible dates and times the more likely that we'll be able to find an appropriate venue for the colloquium.

The following is a list of planned future colloquia, as well as the availability of future regular colloquium time slots.
